Why algebra was algebra?

Muhammad Ibn Musa Khwarizmi
Muhammad Ibn Musa Khwarizmi

A mathematician from the Middle East al-Khwarizmi, who lived in the ninth century, wrote that the solution of equations of the first degree involves two operations: transfer of certain members from one side of the equality to another (al-Jabr) and bring such members (API-mukabala). Al-Jabr" means "recovery" - when the subtrahend number (negative member) is transferred from one part of the equation to another, it becomes positive, i.e., restored. The word "al-Jabr turned into the word "algebra", which is now used worldwide. Here's how the rules al-Jabr and al-mukabala sound translated into English:

Al-jebr
When solving equations,
If part one
Same which,
Meet a member of the negative:
We both parts
An equal member of the set,
Only a sign to others,
And find the positive.
Al-mukabala
Further see, in the equation
Can l make the conversion:
If members have a similar,
Connect them conveniently.

I think it's understandable to adults only, Vika, because I don't understand...
But the verse is cool!
Where do you get this information?
I always looking anywhere except Wikipedia could not find, and then got stuck!
