This word needs no special explanation. We often hear it used themselves and know what it means speed. Thus, ironically, derives the term from the word speed, and from the word time (Latin tempus).
The music on the speed of movement depends the character, the mood of the play. You could read about this, in particular, the lines, dedicated to the words of the Adagio, Allegro, Andante. The main musical pace is:
Largo (largo) - very slowly and widely;
Adagio (adagio) - slowly, calmly;
Andante (andante) - tempo relaxing step;
Allegro (allegro) - fast;
Presto (presto) - very quickly.
In addition to these, the basic rate, often there are such varieties as
Moderato (moderato) - moderately restrained;
Allegretto (allegretto) - quite lively;
VIVACE (vivace) - alive.
Sometimes these definitions pace add these Italian words, as molto or assai - very; poco - a little; non troppo - not too much.
