HARP

A long time ago came to light this tool. Born, like the harp, of the stretched string of a bow. Only changed it differently: steel strings not to pull on the frame, and on a wooden Board, and then, to get the best resonance, flat box with sides of different lengths corresponding to the gradually increasing length of the strings.

In the XVII century there were other, more sophisticated harp, with more than zvonchaty, the number of strings. They were then called "table", and we say more familiar, more modern - table. It was rectangular tool that was put on the table or just attached to it legs. The sound was brighter and stronger opportunities for artist - is wider than the harp zvonchaty.

In the beginning of XX century table psaltery were improved N. Privalov. He created the lyre four sizes, from very small to very large - Piccolo, receive, viola and bass.

The orchestra of folk instruments are used keyboards, harp, designed by N. Fomin also in the beginning of our century. They have a great range - from five to seven octaves, sweet, full, rich sound.
